The first part of the book I would encourage anyone to read. It quickly sucked me in. The way the author describes Italy and her culinary journey made my mouth water. The book, however goes from exciting to boring and redundant fast. I will see the movie, as I think some of the actions are better portrayed on film (hopefully).
