After reading this book, I wanted to visit everyone who might be "forgotten" in the nursing homes and take them to the circus! Even though the main character, Jacob, is an ornery old man you cant help but love him! This was especially interesting because you get a taste of how it really would be like to "run off and join the circus". I'll admit some parts made me want to jump through the pages and slap some sense into the characters but it was an overall great story for me!
