You will not soon forget the well-drawn characters and the hardships they face in these very Western stories by Pulitzer Prize winner Proulx. Award-winning Will Patton is my favorite narrator. I am mesmerized by his voices and accents, so seek out books he has read, but the stories stand on their own merit.
