A good ending(?) or beginning to the book series depending on how you view it. The early involvement of Thomas and Teresa in constructing the Maze and the trials was a good and interesting background story. Even at this early stage of the development of WICKED the book sets the ground work for how WICKED keeps secrets from Thomas and Teresa only confiding in them the barest of information on the ultimate plan for a cure. All in all this is probably the second best book in the series, second only to the first book.
