I don't usually read suspense type romances, and I'm not crazy about books written in the first person, but I decided to give Nine Coaches a try because it's a classic. Although it took me a little while, once the plot thickened I was totally hooked. Stewart is a wonderful writer, and the story builds to a thrilling climax.
