This is a story about high school hazing and peer pressure and the dangerous choices of contemporary teens. Teens who want to fit in and be cool go further and further to prove them selves and sometimes the results are deadly.

This is the Story of Douglas High, and the most Exclusive club the Warriors of Distinction throw the best parties, go out with the hottest girls and gets the best grades. One student Jericho has not been very popular and all the sudden he is the center of attention. Just how far can he go without compromising himself and his values?

This a subject both teens and their parents need to think deeply about and talk about.

Sharon Draper has deeply human characters and the strong plot which mirrors the choices our teens are making. Parents and teens get involved and talk. I think that this story is fiction based on current happenings.
