This book was so good, I couldn't put it down. You definitely need to read the 1st book (Kilgannon) before you read this one. Wild Rose is the continuation of the love story between Mary and Alex. She is an Englishwoman married to a Scottish laird in the early 1700s. Alex joins an uprising against the English, which causes him to be captured when the English win. This book is about Mary and the clan's efforts to get Alex freed. Full of Scots/English history, and of course, Mary and Alex's love story. An excellent read!
