Really just so-so. I don't know why but I thought it would be more of an uplifting book. Instead there were a lot of dysfunctional people and how they interacted together in the restaurant scene. Some family members and others long time (30+ years) employees/wait staff that were like family members. But not. Parts were sad. Parts were really drug out and meandering. All came together at the end, kind of. But some characters were unresolved and a lot of dysfunction remained.
