I was excited to read this book because I love books about bookstores, and it has what appears to be a Bernese Mountain Dog on the cover. It was quite boring. I wasn't interested in any of the characters and the comedic elements didn't work for me. The dog on the cover turned out to be a miniature Bernerdoodle, which (as the owner of a Berner) I think is an absolute abomination!
