Found some good information and great pictures. Our Floracita is the first Chihuahua we have ever owned and she is a treasure to us. We rescued her and she is a true lap dog, comfort to my husband and family. She is special. She may be only 2-1/2 years, but she is as smart as she can be and any of her quirks we can deal with. We got her at a year and she has some things she doesn't care for, but that's okay. She is about 5 lbs and we want her to stay small, because I care her in a small front facing pack. She loves to travel even on long trips and goes with us most everywhere. She is friendly with children, people, cats and most everyone she meets. She is not dog friendly, we think she was roughed up on the street before rescue, but that's okay since we don't plan on having another dog. My husband is the love of her life and she is aware of his health issues and is very helpful with him. She loves me, but he is really number one, she just doesn't like to see us in separate places.
Anyway great book and I have another by this author, with more information. I'll take all I can get. She is a wonderful addition to our family, we had only cats before for several months since our last boxer died.
Great little dog. First for us and we aren't sorry for one so small. Great bed companion.
