Youngsters will enjoy transforming simple shapes into their favorite animal.

Reproducible paper plate animal patterns for youth in grades 1-2. Useful in the classroom, home, parties and at learning fairs. An inexpensive way to build artistic skills, dexterity, and imaginative play while teaching youth to follow directions.

The 14 patterns include deer, porcupine, snail, beaver, elephant, kangaroo, ladybug, fish, walrus, swan, hermit crab, lion, monkey, crab, swan. The kangaroo even has a pouch and a baby.

Materials needed: paper plates, scissors, glue (or tape/stapler), crayons or markers, paper, copy machine.
