It was a light easy read with a little bit of humor, not laugh out loud but amusing.
All the characters are extremely flawed so don't expect to love them. At the same time, they can be very endearing. Michael Magee defines the title "dumb jock" because he really is clueless. At least Felicity / Lissie is more on top of it but she comes off as really shallow. The character I would most like to slap is Cousin Ashley but she does redeem herself in the end.
The great thing is everyone learns their lessons in the end just like a happy fairy tale.
