Im not sure how I feel about this book. It had an interesting story line in that there are nightwalkers (vampires) and the naturi (fae) who are in a battle against one another. The naturi want to open the door to their world so they can descend upon the humans and nightwalkers. I felt that this book had all the right stuff, but it was really boring. Im curious as to how the next one goes since Mira has basically joined forces with Danaus (I still dont know what he is exactly) and has made it so both sides want a piece of her since both sides realize that she is a valuable weapon against them all. Another thing that bothered me was that shes just a pawn for both sides, hopefully in the next book(s) shes breaks free of that. But as I said, it was boring and all I wanted to do was finish the book and move on to another author/book.
