Perhaps I would have enjoyed this book if I liked regular romance novels. But I don't, because the relationships border on abusive and that is heavily romanticized. But they are for adults and if an adult wants a goofy story, so be it.
But 10 and 11 year olds reading the same stiff minus the sex? Yikes! Let the tikes grow into being a woman before they are thrust into the helpless victim role. If you grow up thinking it's not only normal but desirable for a boyfriend to act this way, they'll end up like Rhianna.
