This book was a little lame. The heroine spent way too much time moaning about her past mistakes and the author spent way to much time on the VERY complicated time travel scheme. There was no sense of emotion or connection. The heroine kept sighing and saying how much she loved the hero, but you didn't really feel it. Aside from all that, the author did have all her ducks in a row. There were believable and complex characters outside of the main hero/heroine drama. All the dialogue and actions held together. As I've said, the only problem is that there was no spark of connection. It reminds me of a plot by the numbers mystery novel. All the storypoints are there, but you don't much care by the time the author reveals that the butler did it.
