This was a nice, slow burn. Lily is 26 and has had a role on a soap for several years. She dream is to do theater in London's West End.
Luc is an established, popular director. Lily is cast in his production after one of the leads drops out with an injury. He is in his 40s.
This does a good job acknowledging the double standards (a woman who gets to the top slept her way there, a guy gets there on his own merit). I enjoyed the banter back and forth with Lily and Luc. Luc can be brutally honest. And Lily can dish it back. Both compliment each other and I didn't notice the age difference (even if acknowledged by the characters). Enjoyable with good secondary characters. I liked that Luc's ex, Margo, was not a bitch and was supportive of Lily (and Luc). Props to that.
