First, I must admit to being a committed conservative; I grew up in a union household in a Democratic town, and was an admirer of JFK, but about the time I reached thirty (1968), I started making decisions based on intellect rather than emotion. If you're under thirty and not a liberal you have no heart; if you're over thirty and not a conservative you have no brain - or so the saying goes.
That being said, this audio book was a revelation for me and has planted me firmly in Bobby Jindal's. I hope he runs for president in 2016. I've seldom enjoyed a book authored by a politician so much.
Jindal has some excellent ideas, and quite a clear view of what is wrong in Washington at the moment, even beyond the current inhabitant of the White House. He also has a self-deprecating sense of humor, an appealing trait for a politician. A really enjoyable read, it might even convert a few liberals.
