The Case of the Man Who Died Laughing (Vish Puri, Bk 2)

Another satisfying Vish Puri mystery. It's filled with the familiar cast of characters from his undercover operatives to his meddlesome mother who is his equal at solving crimes. This book is a keeper. The author has a deep understanding of south Asian culture and I say that as someone who is from that part of the world. This isn't a dry mystery. All Vish Puri mysteries are filled with humor. The humor doesn't come from Vish being a bumbling detective like Columbo. While it helps to read the series in order so that you have greater insight into the main cast, all Vish Puri mysteries can be read as stand alone stories without knowing what happened in the previous stories
