Killer in the Carriage House (Victorian Village, Bk 2)

The unemployed heroine agrees to help a friend save her childhood hometown by turning it into a Victorian village. Strangely, the character seems apathetic about the project which makes the reader not care either. There is brief mention of a carriage house but the killer isn't found there so the title is odd. When the killer is eventually unmasked, there is no motive given for what they did. It is also badly edited and there are points in the plot that contradict each other (ate lunch and two pages later eat lunch again on the same day). This is not one of Sheila Connolly's better series and I won't read more.
