I wanted to like this book but Zara was just annoying the entire book. And just when I started to warm to her she does something that pisses me off again. I could understand Andres plight. Towards the end I wanted to knock his head off for not realizing that he could choose to not do the things he did. I still believe that Zara was not a match for him. For all her grief and what she has seen and endure she was just a one-dimension character. There was no layers to her. at all.
