This book is in my top ten favorite books list! It is a wonderful combination of historical fiction and supernatural intrigue. Kostova's writing style is amazing. With each page, I was more involved with the richly designed characters. I didn't want to put it down and I was sad when I was finished reading it. This will likely be one of the few books I read again!
