I giving this one 3 but it should really be 3 1/2.
The story is very well written and to be honest the vocabulary was a smidgen too formal. I found myself looking up words several times. (sabine and seraphic, ????)
As for the characters, I liked Charity. She was strong, determined, committed and naive. Rohan could have been a little more "alpha" for my taste. He was supposed to be a "rake", but he could have been a manlier rake.
I enjoyed it enough that I interest to read the other books in this series. The sister and scarred brother are very intriguing.
