Jennifer Echols is one of my favorite authors. I have read every one of her books that has been published. With that being said this book was not my favorite but I still enjoyed the read. I guess for me it was hard to really get a grip on the relationship between Gemma and Max. We didn't really get to see them incteract very much. I it think was maybe 3 or 4 times. So I didn't feel like I really got to see their relationship or feelings for each other devlope the way that her previous books have been written. That being said I still liked reading the book. Perhaps I am biased because like I said she happens to be one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read her next YA book Such a Rush and the adult book she is working on. I liked this book. It's not a favorite. It's not like Going Too Far, Forget You, or Endless Summer which I have read numerous times. Yet I still enjoyed reading and wasn't disappointed that I spent time reading it
