An excellent book of short true-crime cases. I felt slightly annoyed when I realized that one story had already been published (without commentary comparing it to several cases currently in the news) in volume three of Rule's Crime Files, which I recently gave up trying to finish and passed on to a friend. Rule could have mentioned this at the beginning of the reprinted story. Otherwise, excellent. Anne Rule's Crime Files, #9.
