Vicky is having all kinds of trouble with her demi-demon cousin Pryce who has stolen a Celtic cauldron and sent it into the darklands where souls go. He wants to regain his full powers. In order to follow Pryce into the darklands she agrees to collect three items for Mallti-y-Nos , the Mistress of the Hounds. In order to be admitted, she is changed to a hellhound and runs with the others into the darklands. Kane follows her into the darklands to bring her home. He made a deal with the Mistress of the Hunt that could be disastrous to him. Upon the return, Kane and Vicky declare their love. Due to her extreme feelings of guilt at what she deems her failures, Vicky has a guilt demon gnawing at her guts. In an attempt to get rid of the guilt demon she tries to insult it by calling it Butterfly. The verbal sparring between Victory and Butterfly is a hoot. Still has lots of action and characters are becoming even more finely drawn.
