This audiobook started out a bit slow for my taste, but once it finally got rolling, it was wonderful, and I'm glad I stuck with it. I loved the characters, the era, and the proper etiquette displayed by people of that time. This poor woman had one heck of a life and I found myself really hoping she could find happiness. Another Danielle Steel joy to read.
