A little too much partying leaves Kenzie Mansfield in a bar picking up a cute guy for a one-night stand. She has never done anything like this before but figures she'll never see the guy again anyway. But the next day Sam Long shows up at her workplace as the next cover story for Personality magazine. Kenzie's boss is worried that he will be the next victim of the "cover curse" that is plaguing the last few people to grace the cover. She wants Kenzie to stick to Sam like glue for the next week that his cover is on the stands and make sure nothing bad happens. Kenzie doesn't believe in the curse, but she needs this job. She also doesn't know how she is going to keep her hands to herself while following Sam around night and day.

This is a cute contemporary romance told from Kenzie's point-of-view. I haven't found too many category romances that were written in the first-person POV, but it really works for this story. The heroine's inner thoughts about leaving the city for her first real visit to the country are hilarious. On top of that there are so many scenes that made me laugh out loud, I gave this book an extra 1/2 star. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
