Aveda was purchased by Estee Lauder in 1997. You would think that being part of a huge beauty corporation has watered-down the original business drive. It hasn't. Most ideas in Aveda Rituals are still current in 2008: Being connected to the Earth while living a conscience and present lifestyle. This isn't a buying guide to Aveda products (some recommendations are no longer available) but it is great start towards healthy living.
