England has been invaded by the Normans and William the Conqueror has sent his most fierce warriors to find those Saxon's who resist. Lady Nicholaa has managed to resist capture until Baron Royce secures her holdings. He takes Nicholaa with him to London to be presented as "The Prize" to the winner of a tournament. Instead, Nicholaa saves the niece of the Queen and is given the right to pick her own husband among the Norman warriors. She chooses Royce, knowing he is ever patient with her and his vassals.
This is a cute medieval romance with very likable characters. Royce and Nicholaa are perfect for each other. Nicholaa's younger brother, Justin, is also an interesting character. She should have written a book for him too. My rating: 4 Stars.
