This is the second book of a series and it does help to read the first book. Mostly because you don't get a resolution to the curse until I'm assuming the third book.
Although I enjoyed Portia I wished she was outspoken when it comes to her family. Her sister and her mother were so annoying. Harry actually plays a relatively small role in this, rather secondary compared to Portia. They are rather sweet together.
Unremarkable but entertaining. Will definitely seek out the next one.
