A petty thief is on board the Lusitania and stealing a small silver statue when the ship is struck by a torpedo. As people around him die, the thief swims to shore and vows to change his life. The little statue becomes a family heirloom which is stolen from the Sullivans nearly a century later. Malachi, Gideon and Rebecca Sullivan vow to recover their family treasure, reunite the Three Fates, and make a fortune for their family.
I just loved this book. Not only do we have some interesting history with the sinking of the Lusitania, but we also gets three romances in this book. Malachi approaches a female professor whose knowledge of the Three Fates will help them with their quest. Gideon finds an exotic dancer who may be knowledge of one of the statues. And Rebecca is approached by a security expert who has information that may help the family. As the story unwinds, the Sullivans find that their past and future are linked to the three people they have just met. 5 Stars.
