Undercover DEA Agent Brad McKenna is wounded running for his life in the Florida Everglades when Wendy Hawk finds him. Seeing his injury, she takes him to her home in the swamp. Wendy quickly senses his desperation. Drug dealers are looking for Brad and he needs somewhere to hide. What better place than a home buried in the middle of the Everglades.
Brad and Wendy fell into lust about two minutes after they met. I found the romance portion of the book to be rushed and didn't like the way they would continually argue about something, then fall into bed. I really liked the suspense portion of the book, hiding from the killers who wanted Brad dead. My rating: 2.5 Stars.
