Dark, strange, puzzling, I didn't find it 'artfully rendered' as stated on cover, I found it more off the mark so to speak, wishing and knowing it would not have a happy ending and wondering why I was spending Saturday in this dark book with unbelievable characters (well all but the one, Pete the Postman!) He was the best part.
