I really enjoyed this story. The story begins with the couple just before their wedding, madly in love. Then some years later they can barely tolerate the other. Why? What happened?

The story is set in the 18th Century with powdered hair and wigs; hip bustles if you will; make-up on men and woman; and shocking behavior. This is not Jane Austen's cup of tea.

Funny, sexy...I loved the bathing scene with the hair cutting.

All of the Duchess Series is worth the time, especially with red wine, dark chocolate and a comfy chair.
