I LOVED this book. The character development - from their childhood to adulthood - was believable and very touching. It spoke of how a woman, no matter her station in life, can change the course of that station for her good and the good of other women.
I have read just about every single one of Sue Monk Kidd's books, both fiction and non-fiction, but this is by far my favorite!
