Interesting book to open the lines of communication between parents and their kids that go beyond "How was school?". There are 201 questions for kids to ask their parents and 201 questions for parents to ask their kids. Some of the questions will push comfort zones for both kids and parents.

Most of the questions (if not all) are open ended and require more than a yes or no response.

There is an introduction by the author offering tips and ideas on how to best use the book and its purpose.

Ex q (parent to kid): "Do you think it's important to get physical education in school? Why or why not?"

Ex q (parent to kid): "What do you think is the right about of hugging and kissing that should go on between kids and their mom? How about kids and their dad?

Ex q (parent to kid): "If someone you didn't like wanted to be your friend, how would you handle the situation?"

Ex q (kid to parent): "Do you think you have any prejudices? What would they be?"

Ex q (kid to parent): "Did you ever try any kinds of drugs? Why or why not?"

Ex q (kid to parent): ""Who was your first date? Did you go out again? Did you kiss?"
