5/22/22: Decided to give this a second go as my tastes in reading have changed. While I can see what I reviewed previously I think they were both suffering from delusions of what love was supposed to be and couldn't see what was right in front of them. While I disagree with the methods both took to get what they wanted these actions were instilled on them when they were both too young to know better and those at fault were the ones who should have shown them the right way to handle anger, emotions, and consequences for their actions.
6/11/15: Found it just as abusive as the first one, at some points it was worse. In the end he got what he wanted and she consented to stay with him regardless of the fact that he abused he both mentally and physically. Typical battered wife syndrome.
