This series is addictive and hard to put down. Nicki is such a unique character with a strong sassy twist. She is a bit self effacing and dark humored.
I had a little trouble with this book Nicki's egocentric view of the world, her lack of care for those around her including her newly-discovered twin sister, or her apparent disregard of people's feelings at difficult times.
The action (not that there is much) in this story shifts from Little Five Points in Georgia to Savannah. The premise of the book shows some originality but there isn't enough plot or characterisation to hold the attention of this reader and I found myself overall disappointed.
I have picked up the 3rd & 4th book in the series. I will hope that the next two books are alot better.
