This read more like a romance book rather than a murder mystery. Crissy and her friend Jenny take a month long cruise on the Sea Nymph, an ultra modern, new ship made exclusively for those who want to travel in style and with less passengers. The owner of the cruise line is heavily in debt and can't get credit to pay his loans, so he plans to blow up the Sea Nymph in order to collect the insurance money rather than lose his empire.
I was disappointed in this book for two reasons. One, I don't care for romance books. The other is that Crissy was made to look like too much of a naive bumpkin. It just didn't wash with me. At times, she was smart, and at others she was a simpleton.
If you like romance books, you may like this book. Except for some explicit sex scenes, this book reads like a cozy.
