It is a cross between Cormac McCarthy and Larry McMurtrey. It follows3 different members of a family, jumping from 1850, 1915, and the present, I couldn't always tell when the change happened (I guess when they went from buffalo hunting to fracing, that should have been a clue.) If you believe that men have their natural place at the top of society, this is the book for you.
