Book Review of Tales of Southern Rivers

Tales of Southern Rivers
reviewed on

Many don't know that Zane Grey wasn't just a western writer, but an avid fishman. Here he recounts tales of fishing in Gulf of Mexico, Florida Keys, and remote places in Mexico. Fantastic stories of tarpoon fishing, camping, the sights and sounds of the fishing experience, as well as the inhabitants of the places where the fishing stories take place. I also enjoyed the many good photographs and illustrations in the book, in black and white, of lagoons, and some of the flora and fauna in those places he fished.
