Although I didn't enjoy this one quite as well as Be Still My Vampire Heart it was still an excellent read. With so many romances and so few plus sized heroines when one comes along it really stands out.
This is the 4th book in Sparks' Love at Stake series and I read it out of order so you can too if need be. Although I would very much recommend rushing out and obtaining the other ones too. Heather and Jean-Luc meet in a whirlwind manner at his premier party to open his newest store and display some of his most resent fashion designs. Jean-Luc mistakenly assumes that Heather is stealing his designs when she actually was inspired to take his sized zero creation and make it fit a real woman. In doing so...creating her own fashion. He confronts her and then the misunderstandings start. Really...it gets worse then her being accused of stealing a world famous fashion designer's designs.
Worse meaning Jean-Luc's archenemy from centuries past thinking Heather is Jean-Luc's love. So what's a really old yet incredibly handsome vampire to do...take Heather and her little daughter into his protective custody....that's what.
Heather isn't too keen on the idea but after coming into peril from Lui she changes her mind. Too bad her ex-husband doesn't like the idea of her "living" with Jean-Luc.
So throw in one manly man of a fashion designer, one plus sized independent mother, a donkey of an exhusband, a gun toting elderly nanny and a handful of interesting characters you have got yerself a highly entertaining book. Trust me.
