This is such a fun read-aloud and should be a classic like its' sister book THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER. The Herdmans are back stealing candy and terrorizing the school kids, but inadvertently pull off the biggest and best Halloween Trick AND Treat of the century! I laughed and laughed, and then spent the rest of the day trying to figure out how such a trick could be duplicated.
