This book is enlightening on Amish life. Though not fully representative of the culture as a whole, it gives the reader a valuable experience on some Amish beliefs, and practices. The investigation done throughout the book is especially fun to read. It is nice to see what the defense attorney experiences when preparing for a case. Plain Truth is an amazing book and I encourage all to enjoy the storytelling of Jodi Picoult at least once!
