While I liked the mystery in this book, I had a very hard time believing the relationship between Kevin and his former partner/fiancee--I found absolutely nothing likeable about her. Plus, I found Dae's resignation to possibly losing Kevin to be really annoying--thankfully her friends found it annoying too. So despite the interesting mystery and ongoing election issues, the relationship stuff kept jarring me out of the story. That said, I will definitely continue to read this series as I really enjoy it; I just hope this was the beginning and end of the personal conflict.
