This is a well-written story in the first person voice of the maine character as she begins to take control of her alcoholism & realizes that she has many underlying problems that she needs to deal with. The character seems so real that I felt like I was reading an autobiography rather than a novel. There is laughter & pathos & challenges in every chapter. I strongly recommend this book for anyone who wants to truly know how an alcoholic becomes & then overcomes.
