Fascinating description of personality types in Hellenistic Greece by one of Aristotle's students. This work has been hugely influential in literature and rhetoric. This particular edition is a facsimile of the 1714 manuscript, translated by Eustace Budgell and printed for Jacob Tonson in London, England. The text is illuminated throughout and there is a portrait of Theophrastus on interior frontis piece.
