Another good story in a great series. Sterling was portrayed in previous books as kind of a jerk but you come to like him very quickly. He's another "damaged hero" with a secret that is fairly easy to guess but isn't totally revealed until quite late in the book. Frannie has been a great character since the first book and it was good to read her story.

I have to say that it has been a few weeks since I read this book and I don't remember the characters very well. For that, I give the book only 3 stars because a great book would be memorable.

Additional appeal of this book is that the epilogue resolves the fates of the three key characters in all three books in the long term. I did think she had written other books in this series but this book reads like a period at the end of the sentence.
