I was extremely disappointed in this book. I enjoyed the 1st book (Red) but this book seems to have been written to get us to the third (and final) book in the trilogy. Nothing is accomplished in this book with the main characters to get them closer to each other as they should be. Chapter after chapter the 2 main characters find themselves deeper and deeper in trouble with nothing really gained for the reader. The only interesting part for me were the new recruits and they had little action in the book. Every situation and emotion of the characters was taken to the extreme with no relief as the book progressed.
I will buy the 3rd book because I do want to see how this ends but this was easily a 2 book series and written to be a trilogy to get the reader's money.
