Okay, I read ALOT, and this book blew me away. I had read the "The Unbecoming" last Christmas and had to reread it so I would remember what was going on, and let me tell you, this book had be gripping the pages with all my strength. This book picks up right where the last one left off. I like this book because its paranormal without being over the top. Yes something weird is happening, but it is founded heavily in the "real world". Her parents are trying to help her by putting her in mental treatment, yet they don't know how much they're making it worse. I seriously wanted to scream of frustration for Mara at some points. She was a very strong, developed lead character. Actually, I really loved both the two main characters. The relationship between her and Noah is so damn amazing that I was eating it up. They don't have a relationship that "just happened- no explanation necessary". It was a long time coming for them and they are working on everything and just trying to be there for each other. This book is seriously the best I've read in a long time. It ends in a cliff hanger just like the last one and I am going to be pulling out my hair until the next one comes out.

So yeah, very intricate, well developed plot, lovable characters, a melt your heart romance, and a strong female lead. Add in a little creepy stalker, messed up family tree, psychological thriller drama, and WAALAA! 5 star book.

Seriously. Read these. You will NOT be disappointed.
